1. Confirm the email address
Compare the address entered on the sending website with the address shown in MailDash. One missing character is enough to send the message somewhere else.
2. Give the sender time
MailDash checks the active inbox every 10 seconds, but that does not mean the sender delivers in 10 seconds. The sending service may queue or delay the message before it reaches the temporary-mail provider.
3. Refresh the inbox
Use Refresh Inbox to request an immediate check instead of waiting for the next automatic cycle. Avoid repeatedly asking the sender to resend because some systems rate-limit duplicate verification requests.
4. Check for disposable-email blocking
Some websites intentionally reject known disposable domains. If the site says the address is unsupported, use a permanent email rather than trying to bypass a policy that requires long-term contact or recovery.
5. Consider the type of account
For banking, work, medical, education, payments, identity verification or long-term account recovery, temporary email is the wrong tool. Use an address you control permanently.
6. Try a new MailDash address only when appropriate
If a low-risk signup allows disposable email but the current address appears unusable, New Mail creates another inbox. Remember that messages sent to the previous address will no longer be visible in the new session.
7. Check your connection
MailDash needs network access to the temporary-mail service. If the page reports the mail service is unavailable, reload after confirming your internet connection.
