MailDash is a lightweight, receive-only temporary email utility built for people who need a short-lived inbox for low-risk verification messages, OTP codes and disposable signups without creating a MailDash account.
What MailDash focuses on
The product is intentionally narrow: create a temporary address, copy it, check incoming messages every 10 seconds, read mail, and start a fresh inbox when needed. MailDash does not send outgoing email.
Why the site stays lightweight
The interface uses plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript rather than a large frontend framework. The goal is a fast mobile experience while still providing clear guidance on when temporary email is useful and when a permanent address is safer.
Responsible temporary-email use
Disposable email is useful for short-term, low-risk receiving. It should not be used for banking, medical services, work accounts, school accounts, password recovery, important purchases or anything that requires reliable long-term ownership.
How the inbox works
MailDash uses a third-party temporary-mail provider for mailbox delivery and a Netlify serverless proxy as a fallback path. The current mailbox session may be stored locally in your browser so it can continue after a normal refresh.
